This is why Dex likes this article
Protect your craft project with this clear water-based acrylic varnish. Weather- and lightfast, so your creations stay beautiful for years, and also perfect for the napkin decoupage technique.
When do you choose this product?
What does this acrylic varnish do and when do you need it?
This transparent water-based acrylic varnish is used to finish crafts and creative projects with a protective, glossy layer. You need this varnish when you want to protect paper, wood, cardboard or other materials against weathering and wear, without changing their original colours.
Why choose this transparent variant?
Because it is colourless, all underlying materials and colours remain fully visible while gaining a beautiful gloss. This makes this varnish ideal for projects where you want to keep the natural look but still seek protection and a professional finish.
Especially suitable for decoupage
This acrylic varnish has been specifically developed for decoupage, where you glue and finish thin napkins onto various surfaces. The formula ensures that the delicate napkins are not damaged during application and provides a durable protective layer that is saliva-resistant and water-resistant.
Practical properties for long-term use
The varnish is light-resistant, meaning your projects will not discolour under the influence of sunlight. Thanks to its water-based formula, the varnish has a less strong odour than solvent-based alternatives, and you can easily clean your tools with water. The 500 ml packaging offers sufficient contents for several medium to large projects.

Can cause an allergic reaction on sensitive skin — test the product first on a small, inconspicuous area. Let the varnish dry thoroughly after application; this takes about 30 minutes.
