When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This Marabu acrylic paint basic set is designed for creative projects where you work with a range of different colours. The set contains 12 pots of water-based acrylic paint of 3.5 ml each, so you can paint, draw or make craft projects. Acrylic paint is suitable for a variety of surfaces and dries quickly.
Why this 12-colour composition?
This set contains a complete colour range with primary colours (lemon yellow, scarlet red, cobalt blue), secondary colours (brilliant orange, magenta, light green) and essential supplementary colours such as black, titanium white and sienna. The colours can be mixed with one another, allowing you to create endless new shades. With this basic selection, you have all the colours you need to realise almost any project.
Water-resistant and light-resistant character
Once dry, these acrylic colours become water-resistant, meaning your work can withstand moisture. The paint is also light-resistant, so colours do not fade quickly when exposed to light. The paint dries with a matt-satin finish and provides an opaque layer of colour that is clearly visible on most surfaces.
Practical use with water
Because this is water-based acrylic paint, you can thin it with water while working to create lighter shades or transparent effects. For cleaning up, you only need water and soap, as long as the paint is still wet. Keep the pots tightly closed to prevent them from drying out.
