With these 24 colours, you effortlessly mix any desired shade thanks to the high pigmentation and opacity. Once dry, the paints are water-resistant, so your creation stays beautifully colourfast.
When do you choose this product?
What is acrylic paint and when do you need it?
Acrylic paint is a versatile water-based paint that you can use for a wide range of creative projects, from painting on canvas to decorative applications. This Marabu basic set is ideal when you want to start acrylic painting or expand your colour palette for artistic projects.
Why choose a set of 24 colours?
With 24 different colours, you immediately have a complete basic colour palette at your disposal. You don't need to buy each colour separately and you have enough variety for most painting projects straight away. Each tube contains 18 ml of paint, which is a good amount for trying out different techniques without building up too much stock.
High pigmentation for intense colours
This acrylic paint has a high pigment concentration, giving you intense and vibrant colours. The very good coverage means you need fewer layers of paint to achieve the desired result. Moreover, the paint has a very high lightfastness, meaning your artworks keep their colour intensity for a long time.
Practical properties for versatile use
Once dry, the paint becomes waterproof, so your artwork is resistant to moisture. The paste-like consistency makes it possible to apply both thin and thick layers of paint. Because the colours are mixable with one another, you can create endless new shades by combining different colours.

Dex knows - user tips
Allow the paint to dry thoroughly before touching or covering the surface — once dry, it is waterproof. Preferably use the paint in a well-ventilated room and keep it out of reach of children.
