When do you choose this product?
What is an Art Journal and when do you use it?
An Art Journal is a special sketchbook for creative expression that combines drawing, painting and writing. You use it when you want to capture your ideas visually, experiment with different techniques, or simply get creative without the pressure of a perfect end result.
Why A5 format is ideal for creative work
The A5 format gives you the perfect balance between workspace and portability. You have enough room for detailed sketches and mixed media experiments, while the book is still easy to take with you. This format gives you the freedom to work both in detail and on a larger scale.
Mixed Media paper of 180 g/m² holds up to anything
The matt, fine-grained paper of 180 g/m² is specially developed for all colours and techniques. This means you can use both wet and dry media on it - from watercolour and acrylic paint to pencil and pastel crayon - without the paper becoming soggy or tearing. The natural white paper provides a neutral base that makes your colours really stand out.
Practical details that make the difference
The thread binding ensures the book lies flat open while you work, which is essential for comfortable drawing. The inside pocket offers space for storing loose sketches or reference material. The elastic band keeps everything neatly together and protects your work during transport. Store the book lying flat to prevent the paper from curling.
