This versatile decoupage varnish and glue makes your creative projects weatherproof and lightfast. Dries quickly and gives a lovely matt finish to decoupage and ironing work.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This decoupage glue and varnish from Marabu has been specially developed for the decoupage technique, in which you use beautiful napkins to decorate objects. The product combines both the glue and varnish functions in one bottle, so you can attach napkins and at the same time apply a protective layer. You use it when you want to decorate furniture, boxes, candles or other objects with decorative napkins.
Why choose the matt finish?
This variant gives your projects a matt finish, creating a natural and elegant look without distracting shine. The matt finish is ideal when you want a subtle, refined look that doesn't take attention away from the napkin design itself. This makes it perfect for vintage projects, rustic decorations or when you're aiming for a calm, understated atmosphere.
Lasting protection thanks to weather-resistant properties
The product is weather-resistant and light-resistant, which means your decorated objects are protected against the elements and won't fade in sunlight. These properties make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The water-based protection ensures your creations stay beautiful for a long time, even with regular use or exposure to the elements.
Practical application tips
The product dries in approximately 30 minutes, allowing for an efficient workflow. Always stir the contents well before use to achieve the best results. A particular advantage is that this glue is also suitable for the ironing technique, in which you work with an iron to apply the napkins. This gives you flexibility in your working method.
