When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
This porcelain marker is specially designed for permanently decorating and writing on porcelain and glass. Use it to personalise tableware, glasses, vases or other ceramic and glass objects. After firing, the drawing or text becomes permanent and dishwasher-safe.
Why choose this nib width?
With a line width of 1-2 mm, you get a universal tip that is suitable for both fine details and slightly broader lines. This width gives you enough control for handwriting and small decorations, but is also wide enough to fill in small areas with colour or to create clearly legible text.
Permanent results after firing
The most important feature of this marker is that it becomes dishwasher-safe once you have fired your artwork in the oven. The water-based formula ensures the marker is odourless during use and pleasant to work with. In addition, the ink is lightfast, so colours will not fade when exposed to sunlight.
Practical application
This Marabu marker works on all common types of porcelain and glass. For permanent results, bake the decorated object in a regular household oven following the instructions. Thanks to the water-based formula, the marker does not dry out quickly, so you can take your time working on your design before finalising it.

Dex knows - user tips
After decorating, you need to bake the design in the oven to make it dishwasher-safe. Don't skip this step, or the ink will simply wash off. The marker contains a substance that can cause an allergic reaction in some people, so if you have sensitive skin, it's advisable to wear gloves while using it.
