Create flowing, colourful pours without the fuss. This medium mixes effortlessly with your acrylic paint for beautiful pouring and flow techniques, and after drying the result remains waterproof. Used on its own, it gives your artwork a transparent, glossy finish.
When do you choose this product?
What does this acrylic medium do?
Marabu Pouring Fluid is a water-based liquid acrylic medium specially developed for pouring and flow techniques with acrylic paint. You use this medium to give your acrylic paint the right consistency for pouring art, where the paint flows smoothly over the canvas and beautiful organic patterns are created.
Why this 500 ml pack?
The 500 ml bottle offers enough content for multiple art projects without having to constantly buy new stock. This quantity is ideal for artists who work with pouring techniques regularly, but not so large that the medium loses its effectiveness before you've used it up.
Water-based for ease of use
The water-based nature makes this medium easy to mix with your acrylic paint and simple to clean from your tools. You can also use the medium on its own as a transparent layer, which offers extra creative possibilities for your artworks. Once dry, the medium becomes completely waterproof.
Practical tip
Start by mixing small amounts of medium with your acrylic paint to find the right ratio for your desired flow effect. Each paint colour can react differently, so test first on a sample piece before starting on your final artwork. Store the bottle tightly closed at room temperature.
