Perfect fabric marker for decorating clothing and fabrics! Works on light and dark materials and stays clearly visible after washing and ironing.
When do you choose this product?
What does this fabric marker do?
The Marabu Textilschilder Plus is a fabric marker that lets you draw and write on textile. This marker is water-based and has been specially developed for decorating textiles. You use it when you want to personalise clothing, bags or other fabrics with drawings, text or patterns.
Why choose the 3.0 mm round tip?
With the 3.0 mm round tip you create clearly visible lines that are suitable for both details and filling larger areas. This width gives you enough control for precision work, yet is wide enough to colour in bigger surfaces quickly. The round tip ensures even paint release and smooth line work.
Suitable for all colours of textile
This dark blue marker works on both light and dark textiles, which makes it versatile. On light fabrics you get full colour intensity, while the marker is also opaque enough for dark backgrounds. The lightfast formula ensures your artwork won't fade in sunlight.
Heat-setting by ironing is essential
After drawing, you must fix the paint by ironing the fabric from the reverse side. This makes the colour lightfast and washproof. Without this ironing process the paint will wash out again. Make sure your textile is suitable for ironing before you start drawing.

Dex knows - user tips
Iron the drawing or text after it has dried, using a dry iron (without steam), to set the paint. If you skip this step, the colour will be lost when washing. Do you have sensitive skin? The ink contains substances that can cause an allergic reaction in some people, so work with gloves.
