What does this product do?
A textile pen is used to apply permanent colour to fabrics. The Marabu Textil Painter has been specially developed for painting and decorating textiles, allowing you to personalise clothing, bags or decorative fabrics. This pen is water-based and is ideal for creative projects where you want long-lasting results.

Why choose the 2-4 mm round tip?
The 2-4 mm round tip gives you flexibility in your drawing technique. You can draw fine lines as well as colour in broader areas, depending on how you hold the pen and the pressure you apply. The capillary system ensures an even release of colour, so you can work on your design without interruption.

Durability through fixing
The major advantage of this textile pen is its permanent bond after fixing. By ironing the artwork with an iron, the paint is fixed into the fibres. As a result, your creation remains lightfast and washable up to 60 degrees, which means normal washing will not pose a problem for your design.

Please note: for light textiles only
This orange textile pen is specifically suitable for light-coloured textiles. On dark fabrics, the colour does not show up well because the pen has no opaque effect. For the best results, therefore, choose light or white backgrounds. Always test first on an inconspicuous piece of fabric before starting on your final design.
