When do you choose this product?
What does this coffee maker do and when do you need it?
A coffee maker with a thermal carafe is the right choice if you want coffee that stays warm for quite some time without needing a warming plate. The Melitta EASY TOP II THERM is suitable for brewing 8 cups of coffee at a time, which makes it practical for a household or small workplace where several people enjoy their coffee.
Why choose a thermal carafe model?
With a coffee maker with a thermal carafe, the coffee stays warm inside the carafe itself, without the appliance having to keep running. This appliance therefore also features an automatic switch-off, so it turns itself off once the coffee has been brewed. That is not only energy-efficient, but also safer when you leave the appliance unattended.
What stands out in its operation and use?
The thermal carafe is fitted with a one-handed operation, so you can easily handle the carafe while pouring. The illuminated on/off switch makes it immediately clear whether the appliance is active, and the transparent water reservoir lets you see at a glance how much water is left. In addition, the drip stop ensures you can remove the carafe during brewing without spilling.
Practical tip about the plug and filter type
This appliance is supplied with an earthed plug including a fixed adapter for Swiss sockets. If you use it in the Netherlands, make sure you have a suitable adapter to hand, as the standard plug does not fit directly into a Dutch socket. To brew the coffee, use a Melitta coffee filter, matching the swivel filter that comes with this appliance.
