Handy clothes dryer that fits easily over the bath and offers 7 metres of drying space. Thanks to the adjustable plastic feet, it stands stably on the edge of the bath, without any fuss.
When do you choose this product?
What does this drying rack do and when do you need it?
The Metaltex Nevis is a bath-mounted drying rack that you place over the edge of your bath to dry laundry without needing extra space in the house. This is a handy solution if you don't have a dryer, have limited space available, or want to avoid putting delicate garments in the dryer. With 7 metres of drying length, you have enough room for a good load of hand-washing or delicates.
Why this size and this variant?
The Nevis is made from plastic-coated metal, which means the frame is sturdy while the coating protects the laundry from direct contact with the metal. The standing dimensions are 510 mm wide, 20 mm deep and 1,110 mm high, so the rack stores compactly yet offers a generous drying surface when opened. Thanks to the black plastic feet, the rack stands stably on the edge of the bath without sliding.
An honest note on adjustability
The dryer is infinitely adjustable, meaning you can adjust the width to fit your bath. This makes it suitable for both narrower and wider baths, without relying on fixed settings. Please note, however, that the product is intended for use on the edge of a bath and does not stand independently on the floor.
Practical tip for storage
When you're not using the dryer, fold it flat to just 20 mm deep, so you can easily store it behind a door or beside a cupboard. Check the internal measurement of your bath in advance and compare it with the maximum width of 510 mm to make sure the rack will fit properly.
