When do you choose this product?
What does this colander do, and when do you need it?
A standing colander is used to drain cooked pasta, vegetables or other ingredients quickly and safely. Because this model can stand on its own, you have both hands free while draining, which is handy when you are working with large or heavy pans.
Why this size is the right choice
With a diameter of 260 mm and a height of 100 mm, this colander is suitable for medium to large portions. It offers enough space for a generous amount of pasta or vegetables, so you don't need to drain several times.
Stainless steel: what that means in practice
This colander is made of stainless steel, which means it is resistant to moisture and keeps its shape even with prolonged use with hot water. It is also dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning considerably easier. The silver colour makes any discolouration less noticeable than with some other materials.
Stable handles and free-standing design
The sturdy handles give you a good grip when lifting or moving the colander, even when it is full and therefore heavy. Thanks to the feet, the colander stands firmly in the sink or on the worktop, so you don't have to hold it while draining. This makes this model especially suitable if you regularly prepare larger quantities or prefer to work more comfortably and safely in the kitchen.
