Who is this watercolour album intended for?
This Moleskine watercolour album has been specially developed for artists and hobbyists who work with watercolour paint. The cold-pressed watercolour paper with 25% cotton fibre is acid-free and suitable for paint with a high water content. You choose this album when you want to paint on the go or keep your watercolour work organised.

Why choose this A4 format?
With dimensions of 210×297 mm, this album offers enough space for detailed watercolours without being too large to transport. The A4 format is ideal for portraits, landscapes and studies where you want to capture more detail than smaller formats allow. The 48 sheets give you plenty of room for an extensive series of works.

What makes this paper suitable for watercolour?
The cold-pressed watercolour paper absorbs water in the right way, so your paint flows beautifully without spreading too much. The 25% cotton fibre adds extra strength and prevents the paper from tearing when a lot of water is used. The acid-free paper ensures that your artworks will not discolour or deteriorate over time.

Practical details for everyday use
The hardcover protects your work during transport, and the elastic strap keeps the album firmly closed. The inner pocket of card and fabric is handy for storing loose sketches, brushes or small paint tubes. That way you have everything to hand when inspiration strikes.
