When do you use a watercolour pad?
A watercolour pad is specially designed for working with watercolour paint and other techniques that use a lot of water. You need this type of paper when you want to make watercolours, because ordinary drawing paper becomes soggy and tears when it comes into contact with wet paint. The cold-pressed paper absorbs water gradually and ensures that your paint flows beautifully.

Why choose A6 size?
The A6 format of 90x140 mm makes this pad ideal for sketching on the go and for small artworks. You can easily take it with you in your bag, and the compact size invites daily creative practice. The hardcover protects your work during transport and provides sturdiness while painting.

What makes this paper suitable for watercolour?
The paper contains 25% cotton fibre and is acid-free, which ensures good water absorption without the paper deteriorating quickly. The cold-pressed texture provides the right grip for watercolour paint and lets the colours blend naturally. With 200 grams per square metre, the paper has enough weight to withstand wet work without curling.

Practical details for use
The pad contains 40 sheets and has an elastic band to protect your work. The inside pocket of cardboard and textile is handy for storing loose sketches or reference material. The paper is suitable for all techniques with a high water content, so also for mixed techniques where you use water.
