When should you choose a plain notebook?
A plain notebook gives you the freedom to write, draw or sketch without lines holding you back. This is ideal for creative projects, mind maps, technical drawings or whenever you prefer to create your own layout. The Moleskine Cahier series gives you this flexibility in a practical format.

Why this A5 format with three pieces?
The A5 format of 130x210 mm is compact enough to take anywhere, yet offers ample writing space for detailed notes or sketches. With three notebooks in one set, you always have a spare on hand or can keep different projects separate.

What makes the cardboard version special?
The cardboard cover in kraft brown gives these notebooks a natural, authentic look. The card is lighter than a hardcover yet sturdier than ordinary paper, so your notebook stays well protected without unnecessary weight. The visible thread binding along the spine shows the skilled finishing and ensures durability.

Practical details for everyday use
The ivory-white paper of 70 g/m² is acid-free, so your notes won't yellow over time. A handy feature is that the last 16 pages are perforated and can be torn out - perfect for passing on notes or keeping important sketches separate. The rounded corners prevent the pages from curling and give the notebook a neat appearance.
