For watercolour and wet techniques
This Moleskine watercolour notebook has been specially developed for artists working with water-based paints such as watercolour, gouache and ink. The watercolour paper is cold-pressed and contains 25% cotton fibre, which makes it resistant to high water content without tearing or buckling. You need this type of paper when ordinary drawing paper is too thin for wet techniques.

Why the A5 format is practical
With dimensions of 130x210 mm, this A5 format offers sufficient working space for detailed watercolours without being too large to take on the go. The compact size fits easily into a bag or backpack, perfect for making sketches and studies outdoors. The 36 sheets give you room for a complete series of works or a long-term project.

Durable acid-free paper
The acid-free watercolour paper ensures that your artworks won't discolour or become brittle over time. The 25% cotton fibre gives the paper extra strength and absorbency, essential for watercolour techniques that involve building up layers of paint. This type of paper can take multiple layers of water and pigment without soaking through.

Practical details for artists
The hardcover with elastic band keeps your work protected and the book closed during transport. The internal cardboard and textile pocket is handy for storing loose sketches or reference material. Please note that this paper is specifically suitable for techniques involving a lot of water; for dry media such as pencil or charcoal, you're better off choosing regular sketchbook paper.
