When do you need a new printer ribbon?
A printer ribbon is essential for dot-matrix printers, which are still widely used for multi-part forms and carbon paper. If your prints become fainter or you notice irregular characters, it is time to replace it. This nylon ribbon delivers sharp, durable prints that stay legible for a long time.

Which OKI printers is this ribbon suitable for?
This specific ribbon is designed for the OKI ML380, ML385 and ML390 printer series. It is also compatible with the ML391, ML3390, ML3391 and Okimate 240 models. In addition, it works with the elite variants of the ML391 and ML390, as well as the ML386. Thanks to this broad compatibility, you can use the same ribbon if you own several of these OKI models.

Why nylon as the ribbon material?
Nylon ribbons offer a good balance between print sharpness and service life. The material is robust enough to print many pages without wearing out quickly, while still delivering consistent ink distribution. The black ribbon gives clear contrast that reads well on various paper types.

Identify your printer by the reference number
