What does a waste toner collection box do?
A waste toner collection box catches excess toner released during the printing process. This box prevents loose toner particles from remaining in your printer and ensures that your printer continues to function optimally. Without a functioning collection box, your printer may experience print quality problems.

When should you replace this collection box?
This OKI collection box has a capacity of approximately 30,000 pages. Your printer usually displays a message when the box is full and needs replacing. Replacing it in good time is important because a full collection box can lead to printing problems and, in the worst case, damage to your printer.

Specifically for the OKI C9600 and C9800 series
This collection box has been specially developed for the OKI C9600 and C9800 series, including models such as the C9600N-V2, C9600HDN-V2, C9650N and C9850. Using the correct collection box is crucial because each printer series has its own specifications. An incorrect collection box not only won't fit physically, but may also cause damage to your printer.

Practical tip for replacement
Always check the exact model of your OKI printer before ordering. You can usually find this on a sticker on the printer or in the printer menu. The OEM reference 42869403 helps you confirm that you have the right collection box. Always replace the box when your printer asks you to, even if it doesn't seem completely full yet.
