What does a drum unit do in your printer?
A drum unit is an essential component of your laser printer that ensures the toner is transferred evenly onto the paper. Without a properly functioning drum unit, you will get faint prints, streaks or smudges on your documents. You will notice that your drum unit is due for replacement when the print quality deteriorates, even though you still have sufficient toner.

Why choose specifically the black drum unit?
This black drum unit is specially designed for the OKI C800 series of printers. Black drum units are used most intensively because they are employed for almost all printing jobs, both for text documents and for colour prints. By having a separate black unit, you can replace it independently without having to replace the colour units.

Capacity of 20,000 pages
With a capacity of approximately 20,000 pages, this drum unit offers excellent value for money for offices with an average to high print volume. This capacity means that with normal use you can go for months without worrying about replacement. The lifespan does depend on the type of documents you print and the printer settings you use.
