What does this planter do and when do you need it?
The Orthex Botanica planter is an outdoor box you use to grow or display flowers, herbs or other plants. It is ideal when you want to brighten up a balcony, terrace or windowsill without having to sacrifice ground space.

Why is this size the right choice?
With a width of 600 mm, a depth of 200 mm and a height of 170 mm, this box offers room for several plants side by side. This size fits well on an average windowsill or balcony edge and gives you plenty of planting space without taking up too much room.

An honest word about the material
The box is made of polypropylene (PP) and consists of recycled plastic. This means you are choosing a product with a lower material footprint than a box made of entirely new plastic. PP is resistant to moisture and weather, which makes it suitable for outdoor use. Please note, however, that the white colour may gradually fade slightly with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as is the case with most light-coloured plastics.

Practical tip for use and storage
Before you fill the box, check that there are sufficient drainage holes so that excess water can drain away properly and your roots do not end up standing in water. If you want to store the box at the end of the season, its compact height of 170 mm means you can easily stack it or tuck it away in a shed or storage space.
