When do you choose this product?
What does this sketch pad do?
This Oxford Art sketch pad has been specially developed for making drawings with various types of coloured pencils. The textured art paper of 160 g/m² offers the right grip and texture for creative work. You use this type of pad when you draw regularly and need a sturdy surface suitable for different drawing techniques.
Why choose this A4 size?
The A4 size gives you enough working space for most drawings without the pad becoming too large to work with comfortably. With 50 sheets you have enough paper for a good stretch of drawing, while the spiral binding means you can lay the pad completely flat while you draw. The sturdy cardboard back prevents your drawings from being impressed by pressure.
Suitable for all coloured pencils
The textured surface of this art paper works optimally with different types of coloured pencils. Whether you work with ordinary coloured pencils, watercolour pencils or pastel pencils, the texture of the paper ensures good pigment release and colour intensity. The acid-free paper means your drawings will not yellow or discolour over time.
Practical tip for use
Thanks to the spiral binding, you can fold the pad completely back, which is handy when working in confined spaces. The recyclable paper also makes this pad a sustainable choice. Keep the pad flat and dry to preserve the best results, and use the cardboard back as a sturdy surface while drawing.
