What is the Oxford Junior Pootjes exercise book?
This A5 exercise book has been specially developed for the first school year and helps young children learn to write. The lined paper provides the right support for beginning writers putting their first letters and words on paper. The light green colour makes the exercise book recognisable and cheerful for everyday use at school.

Why choose this A5 format?
The A5 format is ideal for small children's hands and fits perfectly in school bags without taking up too much space. This compact format makes it easy for children to handle and use on their desk, without it becoming too large or unwieldy while writing.

Paper suitable for the first school year
The 90 g/m² paper is sturdy enough to prevent pencil and pen from showing through, which is important when children are still learning to control their pressure. The paper without margins gives children the freedom to write across the full width of the page without being restricted by margins, which benefits the learning process.

Practical details for everyday use
With 16 sheets, this exercise book offers enough writing space for a period of use without becoming too thick for small hands. The reinforced cover ensures the exercise book lasts longer, even with intensive use by enthusiastic first-years. The light green design with paw-print motif makes the exercise book attractive and easy to recognise among other school supplies.
