When do you need eco-friendly carrier bags?
These bio-film carrier bags are ideal for businesses that pack fruit and vegetables and want to reduce their ecological footprint at the same time. Use them instead of traditional plastic bags when you want to offer your customers a sustainable alternative that is fully biodegradable.

Why this 470×220 mm size is the right choice
At 470×220 mm, these bags are perfectly suited to standard portions of vegetables and fruit. The size offers enough room for a variety of products without using oversized bags, which is both economical and environmentally friendly.

Load capacity and material thickness in balance
These bags have a load capacity of approximately 3.5 kg at a material thickness of 12 my. This means you can easily put several apples, a head of lettuce or other everyday shopping in them without the bag tearing. The bio-plastic feels sturdy but breaks down completely.

Compostable to the European standard
The bags are compostable to EN 13432 'Keimling'. They are supplied as 100 pieces on a roll, which is handy for refilling dispensers in shops.
