When do you need an HD stapler?
An HD (Heavy Duty) stapler is what you use when regular staplers fall short with thick stacks of documents. With a capacity of 50 sheets at a time, this device is suitable for stapling thick reports, manuals or presentations that you regularly come across in the office.

Why choose this capacity and throat depth?
The 50-sheet capacity means you can staple stacks up to five centimetres thick in one go. The throat depth of 50 mm gives you enough room to position documents exactly where you want them, even with larger paper sizes or when you don't want to staple right at the edge.

Open and closed stapling: what does that mean?
This stapler offers two clinching options. Closed stapling creates a permanent bond in which the staple legs are bent inwards - ideal for final documents. Open stapling bends the legs outwards, so you can remove the staples later more easily without damaging the paper.

Which staples do you use?
This machine works with staples in the 24/6 and 26/6 sizes. The number before the slash indicates the wire gauge, the number after it the leg length. The rear-loading mechanism makes refilling staples simple - you don't need to turn the machine over or open it up in a complicated way as with cheaper models.
