This is why Dex likes this article
These triangular colouring pencils sit nicely and firmly in the hand, ideal for small fingers learning to draw. With water, you can turn any drawing into a cheerful watercolour effect, and with 12 colours there is always plenty of choice.
When do you choose this product?
Who are these triangular colouring pencils intended for?
These Pelikan Griffix colouring pencils are specially designed for children who are still developing their grip and writing posture. The ergonomic triangular shape ensures that small fingers automatically find the correct position. You choose this shape when your child struggles to hold round pencils or when you want to deliberately work on a correct tripod grip.
Why choose water-soluble colouring pencils?
The water-soluble nature of these pencils offers extra creative possibilities. Your child can first colour as usual and then go over the drawing with a wet brush for watercolour effects. This encourages experimentation and makes it possible to combine different techniques within a single artwork. The 4.0 mm thick lead is sturdy enough for these wet techniques.
Sturdy construction for intensive use
At 140 mm long, these pencils sit comfortably in children's hands, while the thick 100% wood barrel withstands the often less careful handling by young users. The 4.0 mm thick lead does not break easily, even under slightly firmer pressure while colouring.
Complete colour set for all projects
The set contains 12 different colours: blush, yellow, orange, red, pink, violet, mid blue, dark blue, light green, mid green, brown and black. This selection covers all the basic needs for school projects and free drawing. You immediately have all the primary and secondary colours at your disposal, plus a few extra shades for more variety in the artwork.

Dex knows - user tips
The Pelikan colouring pencils have a water-soluble lead that lets you create beautiful watercolour effects: colour in first, then go over it with a wet brush to blend the colour out.
