This is why Dex likes this article
These triangular pencils sit nicely in the hand thanks to their thick, ergonomic shape. With 9 colours and the water-soluble lead, you can effortlessly create watercolour effects on paper.
When do you choose this product?
What are triangular colouring pencils and when do you use them?
Triangular colouring pencils are versatile drawing materials that you can use for both dry drawing and watercolour effects. You need them when you want to experiment with different techniques in one project, or when children are making the transition from ordinary colouring pencils to more advanced drawing materials.
Why choose the triangular shape?
The ergonomic triangular shape of these Pelikan pencils ensures a natural finger position while drawing. This shape prevents the pencil from rolling off your table and gives you more control over your lines. For children who are still developing their writing and drawing posture, the triangular shape offers extra support.
Watercolour effects with water-soluble leads
What makes these pencils special is the water-soluble leads, 4.0 mm thick. You can first draw as you would with ordinary colouring pencils, and then go over your drawing with a wet brush for watercolour effects. The thick 4.0 mm lead gives more intense colours than thin pencils and is less likely to break during use.
Practical set of 9 colours
This set contains 9 pencils in different colours: white, yellow, orange, pink, red, blue, green, brown and black. The 140 mm wooden barrel sits comfortably in the hand. The white pencil is handy for highlights on coloured paper, while the other colours form a basic colour palette for various creative projects.

Dex knows - user tips
The Pelikan colouring pencils have a water-soluble lead that lets you create beautiful watercolour effects: colour in first, then go over it with a wet brush to blend the colour out.
