When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
The Pelikan Bleistift En is an everlasting pencil: instead of a wooden shaft that you sharpen, this pencil has an aluminium shaft and a writing tip that does not wear down in the traditional sense. This type of pencil is handy if you don't want to keep looking for a pencil sharpener, or if you prefer a more sustainable alternative to disposable pencils at the office or at home.
Why this version?
According to the manufacturer, this pencil writes up to 16 kilometres, which indicates that you can write with it for a long time before a refill is needed. The aluminium shaft makes the pencil sturdier than a wooden version, and the plastic cap protects the tip when you carry the pencil in a bag or case.
Hardness grade and refill
The HB hardness grade is a common choice for general writing and notes, neither too hard nor too soft. A refill is included, so after the first period of use you won't need to look for separate parts straight away. Do keep in mind that when replacing it in future, you should choose a refill that fits this specific Pelikan model.
Practical use
Thanks to the plastic cap, you can safely store the pencil in a pen holder or case without the tip being damaged or other items being scratched. This makes it suitable if you regularly take the pencil with you between workstations or meetings.
