What does this handwriting pencil do?
This Pelikan griffix handwriting pencil has been specially developed to help children learn to write. The pencil has an ergonomic grip zone that keeps the fingers in the correct position, so children automatically develop a good writing posture. This is especially important in the early stages of learning to write.

Why specifically for left-handers?
This model is specifically designed for left-handed children, who often struggle with regular writing materials. The ergonomic grip zone is adapted to the natural hand position of left-handers, allowing them to write more comfortably without having to twist their wrist. This prevents fatigue and promotes proper writing technique.

HB hardness and thick lead
The pencil has an HB hardness grade, which is ideal for beginning writers because it is neither too hard nor too soft. The lead is 2.0 mm thick, which is thicker than standard pencils. This extra-thick lead breaks less easily, even under the often still uncontrolled pressure that children apply while learning to write.

Practical clicking mechanism
Thanks to the clicking mechanism, you don't need to sharpen the pencil, which is especially handy for children who are still learning to handle writing materials. You simply click new lead forward when needed. The cheerful pink and turquoise colour scheme makes the pencil appealing to children and encourages them to keep practising their writing.
