What does a highlighter do and when do you use one?
You use a highlighter to mark important text in documents, books or notes so that it stands out. The bright red colour of this Pelikan highlighter ensures that highlighted text catches the eye immediately, which is useful when studying texts or indicating priorities in reports.

Why choose this chisel tip variant?
The chisel tip of this highlighter gives you flexibility in use. You can draw thin lines of 1.0 mm for precise highlighting, but also create broad strokes of 5.0 mm for marking complete lines of text. By turning the tip, you get different stroke widths, so one pen is sufficient for different highlighting tasks.

Practical features of this highlighter
The universal water-based ink ensures the ink does not bleed through the paper and dries well. The twist-off cap is easy to open and close, which is more reliable than an ordinary click cap. The grip zones on the barrel give you extra grip while highlighting, which is especially pleasant during prolonged use.

Handy tip for optimal use
Store the highlighter horizontally so the ink remains evenly distributed across the chisel tip. Always test first on an unimportant piece of text to check whether the ink bleeds through before highlighting important documents. By rotating the tip regularly during use, you prevent one side from wearing faster than the other.
