When do you need fountain pen ink in a glass bottle?
Fountain pen ink in a glass bottle is used for refilling fountain pens with a piston filling mechanism or converter. This royal blue ink from Pelikan is suitable when you write regularly with a fountain pen and prefer filling it yourself rather than using ink cartridges.

Why choose royal blue?
Royal blue is a classic, professional colour that conveys reliability. This colour is washable and erasable, which means small writing mistakes can easily be corrected. Royal blue works well for signatures, notes and correspondence.

Advantages of the glass bottle
The glass packaging protects the ink from light and temperature fluctuations, preserving its quality and colour intensity. The glass is also chemically neutral, meaning it does not affect the composition of the ink. The 30 ml content provides enough ink for long-term use.

Practical tip for use
Make sure your fountain pen is suitable for loose ink before purchasing this bottle. Check whether your pen has a piston filling mechanism or converter. Store the bottle at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Gently shake the bottle before use to prevent any sedimentation and to ensure optimal colour intensity.
