When do you need fountain pen ink?
You use fountain pen ink to refill your fountain pen when the cartridge is empty or when you have a fountain pen with a piston filling mechanism. Pelikan 4001 ink is specially developed for fountain pens and ensures a smooth writing experience without blots or leaks.

Why choose the 1000 ml bottle?
With 1000 ml of ink, you have a generous supply that lasts a very long time. This large bottle is ideal if you write regularly with a fountain pen, use several fountain pens, or work in an office or school where fountain pens are refilled frequently. You won't need to buy ink again for a long time.

What makes brilliant black special?
Brilliant black gives your text a deep, intense black colour that looks professional on paper. This colour is universally suitable for all writing tasks, from signatures and notes to important documents. The ink dries well and remains clearly legible without fading.

Practical tip for filling
Make sure your fountain pen is completely empty before you fill it with fresh ink. Use a funnel or pipette to prevent spills when filling from the large bottle. Store the ink bottle at room temperature and out of direct sunlight to keep its quality optimal.
