These triangular pencils sit comfortably in the hand and encourage the correct pencil grip. With soft quality leads and silver-pressed triangles for extra grip, they're ideal for children who are learning to write and draw.
When do you choose this product?
What are triangular colouring pencils and when do you need them?
Triangular colouring pencils are specially designed for children who are learning to write and draw. The ergonomic triangular shape helps develop a correct pencil grip and prevents cramping during prolonged use. These pencils are ideal for home, school or childcare.
Why choose the slim variant with a 3.0 mm lead?
These Pelikan colouring pencils have a thinner barrel than standard pencils, so they fit perfectly in small children's hands. The 3.0 mm lead offers a good balance between durability and precision – thick enough not to break easily, but fine enough for detailed work. With 12 pieces in the set, you have enough pencils for everyday use.
How does the ergonomic shape ensure comfort?
The triangular shape with silver-enamelled triangles provides extra grip and prevents the pencil from slipping out of your fingers. This shape automatically encourages the correct finger position for writing and drawing. The soft, high-quality lead glides smoothly over the paper without applying too much pressure, which reduces hand fatigue.
Practical details for everyday use
Each pencil has a name field where you can write the child's name – handy for use at school or in groups. At a length of 175 mm, these pencils are long enough for prolonged use. The best way to store them is in a pencil case or pencil tin to protect the tips.
