When do you need a calligraphy pen?
A calligraphy pen is used for decorative handwriting, such as making invitations, menu cards or artistic projects. With the broad nib you create elegant letters with varying line thickness by changing the pressure and angle of your pen.

Why choose a 1.5 mm nib?
The 1.5 mm nib gives you a medium line thickness that suits various calligraphy styles. This size is wide enough for striking headings and titles, but not so wide that small text becomes illegible. You can use it to create both bold and more detailed letterforms.

Ergonomic design for everyone
This Pelikan Twist has a twisted barrel that provides an ergonomic grip during prolonged writing. What makes this pen special is that it is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users, which is not the case with all calligraphy pens. The special shape helps you maintain the correct pen angle.

Practical cartridge system
The pen works with a cartridge system, which means you can easily insert new ink cartridges when the ink runs out. This is much more practical than pens you have to fill with loose ink. You don't need a separate ink bottle to hand and you avoid spilling ink while refilling.
