When do you use a brush water-colour pen?
A brush water-colour pen is ideal for watercolour and aquarelle techniques where you need water to dilute paint or to clean brushes. With this pen you don't need to bring separate water pots, which makes it perfect for sketching on the go, plein air painting, or situations where water is not readily available.

Why choose a refillable version?
This Pentel pen has a refillable water tank, which means you can use it again and again by simply topping up the tank with clean water. This makes it much more sustainable than disposable versions and more cost-effective in the long run. The transparent design lets you see exactly how much water is still in the tank.

Advantages of the nylon brush tip
The shape-retaining nylon hair tip ensures that the brush tip keeps its form, even after intensive use. Nylon withstands regular use with water and various types of paint, and the fine tip gives you control over details in your work. The tip remains flexible enough for natural brush strokes yet firm enough for precision work.

Practical tip for use
Fill the tank with clean water and always test first on a scrap sheet before starting on your final work. Thanks to the transparent tank, you can see when the water becomes cloudy and needs replacing. Store the pen upright to prevent leakage and rinse the tank regularly to prevent colours from mixing.
