What does this highlighter do and when do you need it?
A highlighter is used to emphasise important text in documents, books or notes. The Pentel Handy-line S is fitted with a push mechanism, so you can extend and retract the tip without losing a cap. This makes it practical on the go or when you quickly switch between reading and highlighting.

Why choose this chisel tip variant?
The chisel tip gives you flexibility in your highlighting. With a line width of 1.0 to 3.6 mm, you can draw thin lines for precise work as well as broad strokes for highlighting entire lines of text. The shape of the tip adapts to the angle at which you write, for a natural writing experience.

Practical push mechanism system
The push mechanism is simple: press the clip and the tip slides out. Thanks to the Safety-Clic mechanism, the tip stays firmly in place during use and retracts automatically when you release the clip. This prevents the tip from accidentally poking out in your bag or the ink from drying out through an exposed tip.

Handy storage tip for optimal use
Store the highlighter horizontally rather than upright. This keeps the ink evenly distributed across the chisel tip. The plastic clip with Safety-Clic mechanism can be attached to ring binders, notebooks or your breast pocket. Check regularly that the clip still clicks shut properly to prevent the tip from drying out.
