What does a wet erase chalk marker do?
A wet erase chalk marker is specially designed for use on whiteboards and blackboards, where you can wipe the text away with water. You use this type of marker when you want to write something temporarily that can deliberately be removed with a damp cloth.

Why choose the chisel tip variant?
The chisel tip of this Pentel marker gives you flexibility in your writing style. With the same marker you can make fine lines of 1.5 mm as well as broad strokes up to 4.0 mm, depending on how you hold the tip. This makes it ideal for both detailed writing and filling larger areas.

Wet erase properties in practice
The advantage of wet erase is that you need water deliberately to remove the text, which gives you more control. The marker works on both white and black boards, so you are flexible in your choice of writing surface. Please note: on non-sealed and porous surfaces the marker may work permanently. Therefore, always test in an inconspicuous spot first before using this marker on unfamiliar materials.

Practical usage tip
Always store this marker with the cap on to prevent it from drying out. The plastic casing with cap protects the tip and ensures a longer lifespan. To remove the text, simply use a damp cloth or sponge — no special cleaning agents are needed.
