What is a brush pen and when do you use one?
A brush pen is a pen with a brush tip, used for calligraphy, hand lettering and artistic drawing. The flexible brush tip lets you create lines of varying thickness by changing the pressure and angle of your hand. This makes it ideal for decorative lettering, logos and creative projects where you want to apply different lettering styles.

Why choose this nylon brush system?
This Pentel brush pen has a nylon brush tip that is shape-retaining, meaning the tip keeps its shape after use. This ensures consistent results and a longer lifespan for your tool. The cartridge system also makes it easy to replace the ink when it runs out.

Waterproof and lightfast properties
The pigment-based, deep black ink is both waterproof and lightfast. This means your creations won't smudge when in contact with water and will retain their colour intensity, even with prolonged exposure to light. These properties make the pen suitable for permanent artworks and important documents.

Practical benefits of the cartridge system
You receive 4 ink cartridges straight away with this orange brush pen, so you're well stocked for a long time. The cartridge system means you don't have to replace the entire pen when the ink runs out. By varying your grip and pressure technique, you can switch between thin and thick lines with the same pen for different lettering styles and artistic effects.
