When do you choose a gel pen?
A gel pen combines the advantages of a ballpoint pen with the smoothness of a felt-tip pen. You choose this type of pen when you want to write comfortably without applying pressure, for example during long note-taking sessions or for signatures that need to look professional. The gel ink dries quickly and ensures a consistent line width.

Why this pen tip size of 0.5 mm?
The 0.5 mm ball delivers a fine line that is perfect for detailed work such as filling in forms, making notes in narrow margins or writing in small handwriting. This size gives you enough control for precise writing without the line becoming too thin for everyday use.

Environmentally friendly and refillable design
The barrel of this PILOT B2P consists of approximately 90% recycled PET bottles, so you make an environmentally conscious choice. In addition, the pen is refillable, which means you don't have to throw away the entire pen when the ink runs out. This saves waste and costs in the long term.

Practical refill tip
To replace the ink, use the Pilot refill G2-5/2616. Keep the reference number safe, as gel pens often have brand-specific refills that are not interchangeable with other brands. By using the correct refill, you maintain the optimal writing performance of your pen.
