When do you need an extra-fine fineliner?
A fineliner with a 0.4 mm line width is ideal for precision work where you want to draw thin, sharp lines. You use this pen for technical drawings, detailed notes, filling in small boxes on forms, or for calligraphy and hand lettering where control over line width is essential.

Why choose a 0.4 mm line width?
The 0.4 mm tip of this PILOT fineliner delivers an extra-fine line that is perfect when ordinary pens are too thick. This width gives you sufficient visibility without the lines becoming too dominant on paper. It is the ideal balance between precision and legibility.

Advantages of water-based ink
This fineliner uses water-based ink, which means the ink flows evenly and dries quickly. Water-based ink is often less transparent than other ink types and produces a clear, blue colour. The consistent ink flow ensures that your lines do not become interrupted or uneven while you write or draw.

Practical details for everyday use
The cap features a metal clip, allowing you to attach the pen securely to your pocket, notebook or clipboard. This prevents you from losing the pen and keeps the tip protected when you are not using it. Always store the pen with the cap on to prevent it from drying out.
