When do you need an erasable pen?
This PILOT FRIXION rollerball pen is ideal for situations where you want to be able to correct mistakes without crossing out or using correction fluid. Think of filling in forms, taking notes during meetings, or working on drafts you still want to adjust later. The thermosensitive ink disappears through friction with the plastic tip at the end of the pen.

Why choose 0.7 mm?
The 0.7 mm ball gives a line width of 0.35 mm, which ensures clearly legible text without letters becoming too thick. The triangular grip zone prevents your fingers from slipping during prolonged writing.

How does the erasability work?
The ink responds to heat generated by friction. When you rub over the written text with the plastic tip, the ink temporarily becomes invisible. Please note: at extreme heat (above 60°C) the ink may also disappear, and in freezing cold text that was previously erased may become visible again. This makes it unsuitable for permanent documents.

Practical considerations
This pen is made up of 82% recycled plastic and is refillable, which makes it more sustainable than disposable pens. The stainless steel tip ensures a consistent ink flow. Store documents written with this pen at room temperature and avoid direct heat sources such as strong sunlight or radiators.
