When do you need an erasable highlighter?

How does the erasable feature work?

Practical tip for use
When erasing, be careful not to rub too hard, especially on thin paper. The friction heat activates the erasing process, so a few light movements are usually sufficient. Store the pen at room temperature, as extreme heat can cause all markings to disappear.
