When do you need a document-proof gel pen?
A document-proof gel pen is ideal when you need to sign documents, make important notes or fill in forms that must be kept permanently. The PILOT G1 Klassiek is specially designed for situations where your text must not fade or be erased, such as with contracts, official documents or archiving.

Why choose a 0.25 mm line width?
The 0.25 mm tip creates an extra fine line, ideal when you need to write a lot of text in a limited space. This size is perfect for filling in forms with small boxes, making detailed notes in the margin, or when you want a neat, professional look. The fine tip gives you more control over your handwriting.

What exactly does document-proof mean?
Document-proof means that the ink is resistant to light, water and chemicals, so your text remains legible for years. This property is essential for documents that are kept for a long time. The ink in this PILOT pen meets strict standards for durability, so your signature or notes will not fade or change colour.

Practical tip for optimal use
Store the pen horizontally to keep the ink flowing evenly, and always make sure the cap is firmly on the pen to prevent it from drying out. Always test the pen briefly on a scrap of paper before signing important documents, so the ink flows properly and you get a nice, even line.
