What does a calligraphy pen do, and when do you need one?
A calligraphy pen is specially designed for decorative writing, in which you want to shape letters in a more beautiful and artistic way. You use this pen for hand lettering, invitations, cards, or simply when you want to give your handwriting an elegant look. The broad nib creates variation in line thickness depending on the writing angle.

Why the medium 0.58 mm nib is ideal
The 0.58 mm nib offers an excellent balance between versatility and control. This medium width is not too broad for beginners, yet it gives your letters enough character for a striking calligraphic effect. You can use it for both smaller texts and larger decorative letters without the pen becoming unwieldy.

The benefits of the stainless steel nib
This PILOT calligraphy pen has a stainless steel nib that ensures a smooth ink flow and durability. The stainless steel construction means the nib retains its shape, even with regular use. The plastic body makes the pen light and comfortable to use, ideal for longer writing sessions.

Get started straight away with the included ink cartridges
The pen comes with two black ink cartridges, so you can start calligraphy right away. When a cartridge is empty, you can easily replace it with the spare cartridge. For optimal performance, store unused cartridges at room temperature and keep the pen stored horizontally to prevent it from drying out.
