When do you need thick black marker pens?
These PILOT chisel-tip markers are indispensable when you want text or figures to be clearly visible from a distance. Use them to highlight important information on whiteboards, flip charts, posters or during presentations. They are also ideal for creating eye-catching labels, signs or warnings.

Why choose this broad nib width?
With a line width of 3.0 to 12.5 mm, you create extra-wide strokes that remain easy to read even from far away. You get this variable line width thanks to the chisel tip, allowing you to colour in broad areas as well as draw thicker lines. This makes the markers more versatile than standard thin highlighter pens.

Practical features of the chisel tip
The chisel tip gives you flexibility in your line work. Holding the marker flat gives you the broadest line of 12.5 mm, while using the corner of the chisel lets you make finer lines of 3.0 mm. This tip is sturdier than an ordinary felt-tip pen and lasts longer with intensive use on rough surfaces.

Tips for optimal use
Store the markers horizontally with the cap on to prevent them from drying out. Test first on a small section of the surface to check that the ink adheres well and does not bleed through. For the best results on whiteboards, use the marker with even pressure so the ink is distributed evenly.
