What is this mechanical pencil and when do you need it?
A mechanical pencil with a 0.7 mm lead is ideal for everyday writing, drawing and technical work where you need a consistent line width. You never have to sharpen it and always have a sharp point. This PILOT Super Grip model is suitable for long-term use at the office, at school or at home.

Why choose a 0.7 mm lead diameter?
The 0.7 mm diameter offers the perfect balance between precision and strength. These leads break less easily than thinner variants such as 0.5 mm, yet still provide sufficient accuracy for detailed work. For general writing and notes, this size is the most practical.

Grip and ease of use are central
The rubberised grip zone ensures the mechanical pencil sits comfortably in your hand, even during longer writing sessions. This prevents your fingers from slipping and reduces fatigue. The retractable tip protects the lead from breaking when you store or carry the mechanical pencil.

Practical in use
The mechanical pencil has a replaceable eraser, which means you can replace the eraser when it has been used up. The plastic clip makes it easy to attach to your pocket or notepad. For optimal use, you can purchase refills of 0.7 mm leads – make sure you always use leads of this specific diameter for the best performance.
