What does a pigment marker do and when do you use one?
A pigment marker works with opaque, water-based pigment ink that writes and draws on virtually any material. You use this marker when you want to make permanent, colourful markings on various surfaces such as paper, card, wood, metal, glass or plastic. The POSCA PC-5M is ideal for detail work, decoration, labelling and creative projects where precision and coverage matter.

Why choose the 1.8-2.5 mm round tip?
This tip width offers the perfect balance between detail and coverage. With 1.8-2.5 mm you can draw fine lines as well as fill in areas, without the tip becoming too thick for precise work. The round shape ensures an even line width and makes the marker suitable for both writing and drawing. This size is versatile enough for most office and creative applications.

What makes khaki green a special colour choice?
Khaki green is a muted, natural shade that reads well on light backgrounds and looks professional in business environments. This colour is less eye-catching than bright colours, yet it is clearly visible for marking and categorising. You often use khaki green for outdoor projects, nature themes, or when you want a more subtle marking than with primary colours.

Practical tip for optimal use
Always shake the marker well before use and press the tip onto paper a few times until the ink flows evenly. Store the marker horizontally with the cap on to prevent it from drying out. The pigment ink is permanent on porous materials, but can be wiped off smooth surfaces as long as it is still damp.
