What does a pigment marker do, and when do you need one?
A pigment marker such as this POSCA is ideal for creating broad, eye-catching lines and colouring in large surfaces. You mainly use it for posters, decorations, signage or artistic projects where you want to quickly cover a large area with opaque, white pigment ink.

Why choose this 15 mm wedge tip size?
The wedge tip (Keilspitze) with a 15 mm width makes this marker perfect for large-scale work. Thanks to the wedge shape, you can fill broad areas as well as draw somewhat more precise lines by holding the marker at a different angle. The 15 mm width means you can work through large surfaces quickly without constantly going over them again.

Advantages of white pigment ink
White is a special colour in markers because it has real opacity on dark backgrounds. This POSCA pigment marker lets you work on black paper, coloured card or other dark materials where ordinary markers fall short. The pigment ink dries to a matt finish and remains clearly visible.

Practical tip for optimal use
The tip is made of plastic, which means you can use it on a variety of materials without the tip wearing down quickly. Shake the marker well before use and test first on a small piece of your material to see how the ink reacts. Store the marker horizontally to keep the ink evenly distributed.
