When do you choose this product?
What does a pigment marker do, and when do you need one?
Pigment markers are versatile writing and drawing tools that make opaque, covering lines on a wide range of materials. You use them for marking, decorating or drawing on paper, cardboard, glass, metal, plastic and other surfaces where ordinary markers often fail.
Why choose the round tip of 4.5–5.5 mm?
This round tip delivers broad, even strokes that are perfect for filling large areas and creating eye-catching accents. With a line width of 4.5 to 5.5 mm, you can quickly produce clearly visible markings without having to go over the same spot several times.
What makes the purple colour special?
Purple is a powerful colour that stands out well against most backgrounds without being garish. The pigment formula gives a rich, saturated colour that is lightfast and does not fade like ordinary markers do. This makes the marker suitable for permanent applications.
Practical tip for optimal use
Always store the POSCA PC-7M horizontally and shake the marker before use to mix the pigments thoroughly. When marking unfamiliar materials, test first in an inconspicuous spot. The round tip is ideal for broad lines but less suitable for fine details – so combine it with thinner POSCA markers for varied work.
