When do you use a pigment marker?
POSCA pigment markers are ideal when you want permanent markings that need to last. Unlike regular markers, they use pigment ink instead of dye, so your drawings and markings stay vivid for years. You choose this type of marker for projects where durability matters.

Why this 0.7 mm tip size?
With the 0.7 mm tip, you strike the perfect balance between fine detail and visibility. This width is ideal for writing text, small drawings and precise lines, without the result becoming too thin to be seen clearly. The calibrated tip ensures the line width stays consistent during use.

Benefits of the waterproof pigment ink
The lightfast pigment ink in this POSCA marker does not fade under the influence of sunlight, water or UV radiation. This means your work stays intact outdoors or in damp environments. Moreover, the marker is odourless, which is pleasant during extended use indoors.

Suitable for which materials?
This pigment marker works on almost all surfaces, from paper and cardboard to plastic, metal and glass. The waterproof property makes it suitable for projects that need to withstand moisture. Note that the marker is permanent on porous materials, but on smooth surfaces such as glass it can often be removed again.
