When should you choose pigment markers?
Pigment markers are ideal when you work with different types of material and need an opaque, permanent marking. Unlike ordinary felt-tip pens, pigment markers work on virtually any surface such as paper, card, plastic, metal and glass. You use them for creative projects, presentations, decoration or whenever you need to mark permanently on tricky surfaces.

Why choose the 4.5–5.5 mm round tip?
This POSCA PC7M has a round tip with a line width between 4.5 and 5.5 mm, allowing you to create both broad stripes and filled areas. The size sits between the fine and extra-thick variants, making it versatile for a range of applications. You can use it to fill in details as well as cover larger surfaces.

What does pigment ink mean for your work?
The pigment ink in this marker delivers an intense, opaque colour that does not fade and is waterproof once dry. Red is a striking signal colour that stays clearly visible, even on dark surfaces. The ink does not mix with other colours and stays bright, even when you work over other markings.

Practical tip for use
Always shake the marker well before use and test first on a small piece of your material to check that the ink adheres properly. Store the PC7M horizontally with the cap firmly in place to prevent it drying out. On porous materials such as untreated wood, the ink may soak in more deeply, so you will use more ink.
